Motor Image Group has introduced the 2017 Impreza at the Manila International Auto Show 2017. As an additional treat, Russ Swift is scheduled to perform at the auto show with is steady hands on Subaru vehicles including all-new Impreza.
Improved PerformanceÂ
The new Impreza is believed to score high on the performance charts, all thanks to its new chassis that are now 50% more rigid due to the newly designed glue for joints welding. The auto designers have done a great job by making a stiffer frame and using good quality damping material. With this, they have also assured that overall weight doesn’t exceed to that of previous generation model. All these to provide highly improved cabin comfort and handling.Â
New Platform
The 2017 Subaru Impreza will be the first car to stand on Subaru’s new Subaru Global Platform that will form the base for other models. This new generation platform will provide improved comfort, safety, and performance (courtesy better chassis rigidity). Also, is present an improved CVT gearbox and efficient mill.
Price
When inquired about the price, Mr. Glenn Tan, ex-Chief Executive of Motor Image Group gave a clear cut answer saying that “it will be Php 1,380,000 for 2.0i-S 4-door top end variant’. Also, he informed that for now only one variant of Impreza would be introduced in the Philippines and no more will join till until there is demand for additional trims.
After bringing the all-new Forester in the country, the Japanese automaker has now launched the 2017 Impreza at the Manila International Auto Show. All-new 2017 Subaru Impreza is one of the major highlights of the event . The car is already launched in Singapore @Singapore Motor Show, and it was Motor Image Group to unveil the new Impreza. For those of you who are not aware, Motor Image Group is the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in around nine ASEAN countries including the Philippines.
The Motor Image Group has promised to launch 2017 Impreza in three countries namely Singapore, Taiwan & the Philippines. As the car is already present in one of the above-mentioned countries, we can take hints from the Singapore launched model; the configuration of which is expected to remain unchanged with only some minor tweaks in the final output.
