Duterte accidentally farts! No to Duterte!

Date:

Duterte made national headlines yesterday as he accidentally passed air on the way to one of his sorties. Netizens on social media were divided on this issue as to whether this was how a presidentiable should act while others came to his defense. One netizen commented “tao lang po, normal lang po ang utot” while his arch rivals lambasted him by saying this is a crazy person! Biruin mo, umutot! Diyos ko po! Wag natin cya iboto! Ang Bastos!

Asked for comment on the issue, Grace Poe released this statement “Ang utot ay normal na proseso ng katawan. Maari pong masakit yung kanyang tiyan or di kaya nakakain cya ng maraming kamote, na cyang dahilan kung bakit sya umutot. Kung ako ay mailuluklok sa posisyon, ako po ay babangon tatawagan ko po ang DOH at sabihin ko sa kanila na dapat lakasan natin ang kampanya na wag umutot sa pampublikong lugar, ngunit kung umutot man si Mayor Duterte, intindihin na lang po natin dahil baka lang natalagang hindi niya sinasadya.

Mar Roxas on the other hand, said, “Ay! Umutot pala si Duterte, Aba, wala akong alam dyan. Papaimbestigahan natin yan” during an ambush interview at NAIA 3, on his way to attend a beauty pageant in Hong Kong.

Binay just said, “pinapatay ni Mr. Duterte ang karapatan nating pantao. Di dapat natin iboto si Mr. Duterte. Mag isip isip kayo mga kababayan…Kung ako ang iboto nyo, gagawin ko pong bawal ang pag utot sa buong Pilipinas, tulad ng ginawa ko sa Makati.

International personalities also jumped into the fray by going on their official twitter accounts, saying that the act should be condemned as this is clearly a violation to the rights of a human person and it devalues human dignity! Think about all the people who were affected by the bad smell.

The Commission on human rights said that they would look into the matter as they heard rumors that Duterte does this on a regular basis. “We will launch an investigation and look into it right away” In the meantime, The CHR urges all Filipinos who take this seriously, to launch an online campaign to disqualify the Mayor of Davao city from the presidency. “ He is unfit to run, they said, because he does not know the meaning of the quality of life”

Duterte on the other hand, apologized and said that, again, this has blown out of proportion as he was just exercising his freedom of expression.

Now, that I have your attention.

Can we please go to the real news and the real threats to democracy such as the videos taken to show envelopes with 1k being distributed during an LP sortie? Is this not prohibited by some obscure law? Do we even have laws regarding this.

And while we are at it, I don’t care if someone is one of the highest tax payers. Should government property be used to campaign for a presidentiable?

By the way. I also thought that any government employee is prohibited from using ones position to influence votes. Now why why does our dear beloved president have TV ads?

And while we are at it, Can someone please tell the COMELEC to stop issuing silly statements regarding the data leak? It is adding insult to injury.

And since it just came up now, please turn your gaze on the fact that the COMELEC data, available on torrent, is being seeded by the Malacanang servers. Why?

Thank you for reading.
